"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." - Romans 12:2Often I asked myself why is that some people who have been in church for years yet lives not changed. then i realised their mindset is not changed. They are in a condusive environment where people encourage each other constantly. yet they are still not changed! Dr. A.R Bernard once came to teach in service about our success & failure, how both results are linked. When people receive new information and know that they can be winners & overcomers, their mind & beliefs change and their lives change soon after. But when they don't accept it or they don't apply action to it, they live the same.
The verse says if only we are convinced that we accept it and willing to change to live by it, then we can see our lives taking shape of being a successful person. No one can change the way we think, only WE OURSELVES can. Lets DECIDE to live a changed life for God! |
